‘Living by design.'
Archsign have chosen to extend their services beyond designs for buildings as they are now offering skills in the area of interior design, Décor and Art. Opening its doors in March 2010 the Archsign Style Gallery (ASG) has set in its vision and path to bring art and art inspired concepts for Design back into the community. This is an initiative intended to inspire and ignite creative thought and resurrect an appreciation of the visual arts which have influenced movements and set trends in all design disciplines throughout history.
The vision of the ASG is to not only to connect the community with the power and pleasures of art, but it also hopes to introduce the public to emerging local talented artists in particular those with a Mental Illness or Physical Disability. The emphasis in on the disadvantaged artists as they are a group who often struggle with getting the exposure they deserve in the art world, despite their strengths. We endeavour to create a platform from where their talents can be harnessed and their confidence restored through sales of their work so that they too can participate in the community feeling empowered and driven to communicate visually in a way which sets them free and offers them therapeutic benefits.
Through this innovative concept the ASG will happily be an agent and resource for such artists and be able to create opportunities to showcase the artists’ works to other artists, clients, developers and the general public.

These means are not limited to the Gallery but also expand to the internet and media. Subsequently, the artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their works not only at the ASG gallery but in local businesses such as cafe’s, restaurants, offices and hotels, Apartments etc as either acquired, commissioned, or leased art pieces.
The ASG vision not only seeks to promote their artists but also provide a mentoring program fostering the growth and development of each artist. As part of the mentoring process the ASG encourages the artists to interact with one another so that networks and partnerships can be formed for projects that require the collaboration of diverse talents.
Furthermore, Archsign aims to work with the ASG artists as a means of obtaining fresh and innovative ideas for art inspired features in a building that are both decorative and functional such as the development of interior fittings, fixtures and furniture items.
